Hotties; The Bookshelf Boyfriends

The whole appeal of a good book to me is based on two things. The plot and the characters. I know, it sounds super obvious, but good characters and a storyline that is actually interesting are what stops me from dumping the book back on my bookshelf after the first twenty pages. And, as shallow as it is, what really keeps me reading is the allure of a hero. I love reading, mostly through the eyes of a heroine, about first loves, romantic dates and falling in love with them, with the force of the heroine driving the relationship(but not in a creepy way!).

Get The Gossip; Gibson Tuck, Minkoff Nails, Girls Names and more...

Hi Guys! How are you enjoying November so far? Wow, I haven't done one of these in a while! anyway, today's Get The Gossip features a random selection of uber-cool things which i found online this past week;

The first thing which i fond is this really cool map of Europe in which every country has a label of it's most popular girls' name. I like it how some countries have the same name, like Sophie, or Maria(I can see it 6 times!).

Lipstick Review; Kate Moss Rimmel 107

Hi guys! So, the other day I popped into my local Boots and picked up one of the uber-hyped Kate Moss lipsticks in the matte collection.

I have wanted one of these for a while, ever since the line was launched, really, but somehow I never actually got round to buying one. But now I have, I can finally say that they do indeed live up to my expectations.

Circa. 1950 Anyone?

Hi Everyone!! I feel like it's been such a long time since I posted about beauty and make-up - I feel like all I talk about is books! So, for all of you who have been missing those beauty posts, I thought that I would get back into them with a 1950's inspired hair and make-up tutorial. I have used some pictures from one of my favourite websites; The Beauty Department, but this is only because any picture that they take is probably ten times better than mine will be. But I promise, in the future I will definitely be posting more of 'my own' make up looks.

So, what is more 1950's than a bright red lip, classic eyeliner flick, and a bright red lip.

So, first: the hair. This look is a preppy but still classy, 1950's ponytail, but taken to the next level with a slight beehive, and some curly ends.

How Cute; Mini Wonka Nerds

Hey everyone! So, do you love Wonka Nerds as much as I do? My sister is completely obsessed with these little sweets, and I think they're really tasty!

The Never Ending Book List

I think that I read as much as I write, or probably even more than I write, which is crazy. I love reading new books, especially young adult ones. S is it really a surprise that I read a number of book blogs? My favourite definitely has to be YA Crush, I love that blog! They're so funny too, go check them out! And through a process of reading their reviews and wanting more, hearing everyone rave on about certain books, and getting books recommended to me, I have accumulated a pretty large book list.

These are the books which I want to buy. Oh no, reading them alone is simply not enough. I like to re-read books. Some people think its weird, other people don't, but it doesn't change the fact that I do it. By his is exactly why I much prefer to own a book rather than just borrow it from the library, especially if the book has been recommended by so many people, and I'm sure that I'll love it.

Get The Gossip; Apocalypse Bunker, Glowing Bedrooms, and Brussels Sprout Crisps...

Hi guys! wow- I've had such a stressful week revising for exams! Anyways, here are my favorite finds of this week, enjoy!

Most people absolutely detest Brussels Sprouts, but how many people have actually tried them? Not many, I bet. I actually really like Brussels sprouts, I can't eat to many, but about six or seven in one sitting is perfect. So here is a recipe which I found about how to make these Brussels crisps, which look totally awesome! I wouldn't bother to make them just for a snack, but as a side dish at at dinner party, or even on Christmas  I think that they would be delicious.

Winter Warmers; Make The Perfect Winter Lattes

I have a confession- I hate coffee. I know that some of you big coffee drinkers will be gasping right now. I just hate they way that it tastes. .But, I like the way it smells. So, you could say that it surprised me when I bought a gingerbread Starbucks latte on a Christmas late night shopping evening last year, and I liked it, a lot.

I found myself at the counter of Starbucks buying this overpriced, but delicious drink, and I after drinking it I knew two things. 1. That even though it was coffee, it was so yummy, and 2. That I knew there was a way to recreate this amazing-ness a a fraction of the cost.

Beauty Do-It-Yourself

I love DIY! I don't mean the really manual/slave labour stuff, like building a bed from a tree that used to be in your garden. No. I mean cute DIY which help you to get organized  or make adorably Christmas presents for people- that DIY. Here are four really cool Beauty themed DIY's which I will totally be trying out!

Number one- painting bobby pins with nail polish! I did this when I was younger, but had not really considered doing this at my age now, as I thought it would be childish. But, I did this the other day with some spare bobby pins, and as I have nicer nail polish now(when compared to the oh so glamourous uber-gloopy mega glitter stuff that I had aged 8),  I think that it looked quite nice. I would totally recommend  this if you want a simple and fun way to glam up a boring hairstyle, especially for school!

Barry M 'Amythest Glitter' Review

Hi guys! So, the other day I purchased a new nail varnish. I know, shocker! But I have so many nail varnishes, I kind said to myself that I wouldn't buy anymore for a while. Anyway, so I was in my town centre, and there is a lot of shops doing the whole '3 for 2' thing right now, so I originally said that I would buy three, and I would really be saving myself money! But then I realised that I didn't really need three more nail polishes, so I just went with my favourite. So, with that ramble over, I guess I should start the review now!

What's The Deal With Pintrest?

Hi guys! So I know that Pinterest has been on the scene for a while, but now I finally know what everyone's been talking about! I freaking LOVE it! I got it just the other day, and spent, like,  three hours looking through everyone's clever posts. I especially like the DIY section, being a total DIY freak! Haha! But seriously, Pinterest rocks!

Get the Gossip; Common Birthdays, DIY Fonts, How To Contour

Hi guys! How are you all today? This week I have found some pretty awesome things online which I'd like to share.  Here they are;

So, I've always wondered, on my birthday, how many other people are celebrating their birthday at the same time. Apparently not many. To read this chart, you find your birth date on the side, and the month at the top, and follow it down until you reach the square that corresponds to how many people share your birthday. If your square is darker, then it is very common, but if it light, then your birthday is less common. Mine is a light beige colour, so I guess that not many people share my birthday with me, which is sad.

Abercrombie's Been Busy!

Hi everyone! So, it came up on my Facebook feed the other day when Abercrombie and Fitch posted their pictures from various flagship store openings in Europe recently. I have been to the Abercrombie in London, and it is so nice that they even take your picture with this topless guy at the door! Ahhh...

I honestly don't have an issue with these fitties parading their gorgeous bodies, I mean, they're getting payed, aren't they?

Anyways, here are some of the best pictures from the flagship store openings. The first ones are from the opening in Munich, in Germany.

Foreign Graffiti?! Why I Love It

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a happy Halloween  and I am wishing you all a great November! So, I thought that I would tell you about a little obsession of mine, aside from nail polish and Taylor Swift, I mean.

i LOVE foreign graffiti

I don't know what it is about not knowing what it means, it just looks so free. I don't intend to go around with a spray can and write 'bonjour' on a random wall or anything, and I don't thin that graffiti is OK, but somehow, in a foreign language, it looks amazing and inspiring. I like that you can interpret it in any way that you want- mostly romantic in my mind. But just for you guys, I thought that I would use translate it, just in case you were wondering what it meant. Oddly, most of them are in Spanish, so I don't know what that says about the police system in Spain... Here they are, let me know if you love them too;

"think with your heart"
this is my favorite...
